The Knoxville Fire Fighters Association represents the professional fire fighters of Knoxville and has been proudly serving our community since 1918. We have made saving lives and property our lifelong profession and are asking the community to stand behind our efforts. In order to raise funds for our educational and safety programs, we are hosting a benefit concert featuring a Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute Band called Tuesday's Gone with songs like "Sweet Home Alabama", "Gimmie Three Steps" and "Simple Man". The concert will be held Saturday, June 1st 8:00 pm at Chilhowee Park.

By purchasing tickets to the show you are supporting the men and women of the Knoxville Fire Fighters Association, who have made saving lives and property their lifelong profession. Because of your support we are able to provide many outstanding programs and other member benefits of the Knoxville Fire Fighters Association in Knox County. These include:

  • Sponsoring CAMP HOPE to help provide Aid and Recovery to young burn victims throughout East Tennessee.
  • OPERATION WARM providing new winter coats to foster care children across the state of Tennessee.
  • Providing a MOBILE FIRE SAFETY HOUSE ON WHEELS to teach local children proper fire safety procedures.
  • BURN OUT FUND to help families throughout Knoxville, Knox County and East Tennessee who have lost their homes to fire.
  • Support of THE FIRE FIGHTERS RELIEF FUND to assist families of fire fighters killed or permanently disabled in the line of duty.
  • SUPPORTING RONALD McDONALD HOUSE to assist families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at nearby hospitals.
  • Purchase and installation of SMOKE DETECTORS in homes of hearing impaired, elderly and less fortunate.

Fire fighters are rated as having one of the most hazardous occupations in terms of death and injury. Working with citizens of Knoxville and Knox County, perhaps we can change these statistics for the better.

With the help of our friends in the community, we hope to make Knoxville a safer place to live and raise our families.

   Respectfully,

   Larry McAfee Jr

   President, KFFA Local 65
